So my sister recently started a blog and is putting me to shame with how regularly she posts. To try and fix that in a very small way have a look at this.

So. Humans vs Zombies @ ANU is over - for this semester. So you can now safely expect some more ‘normal’ content… rather than my mad ramblings about zombies and then being a zombie (did I mention I was a zombie?). Back to the point, uni life is back to normal.
In other news I really can’t be bothered writing a full post now. Maybe later.
Brains…
I find less and less reason to continue this report. After all - why am I doing this? As a human it made sense but now… well now it is pointless. I think it is time for me to move on. Leave this part of the horde and spread it to new places.
I have decided that tomorrow I will make the journey to NSW.
It is time to spread this plague.
Despite the recent setback of my death I find myself strangely… well - the same really. I may be dead, an abomination to nature. Yet I feel just like I did before. Except for one thing. A hunger. Not a physical hunger like many of my brethren seem to experience. This hunger I speak of is more a hunger to kill.
I need to propagate the zombie plague.
Some have said that being a zombie is a dead end (for a species, for evolution) - that we cannot reproduce. That is not true. We can reproduce… in a way. It is just that we reproduce, we continue our species - by killing and converting humans.
I should get back to the point. Another day has passed. There are more stories. A good starting point is the treaty between Humanity and the zombie populace. My fellow zombies and I rallied behind Sullivan and met Captain Joe and the humans. A treaty was discussed and ultimately signed - despite the fact that only one of the original conditions was passed (and that condition was of little importance).
After that the next event of note was the opening of the shop. The horde managed to prevent humans from reaching the store. We actually did it. The horde now has the benefit of some new items - which I won’t discuss here for the sake of secrecy.
Finally the conclusion of the day was to do with the treaty - a friendly competition between us Zombie’s and the remaining Humans (as dictated by the afore mentioned treaty). To be honest it wasn’t terribly important in the grand scale of things.
Until tomorrow I will bid you all farewell. To my zombie brethren may the hunt be successful.
And to any ‘Humans’ who might be reading this - good luck.
You will need it.
Sorry for the slow update - unforeseeable circumstances arose… but I will get onto that later.
Day two of the zombie invasion was interesting. The zombies were getting organised. They were waiting and hiding. There were multiple instances where I found myself having to make a mad run to try and get to my next destination. Add onto that the growing tension that the mysterious human leader ‘the Captain’ was causing… well we all knew something was going to happen.
We received word that there were going to be three item drops at various locations - we wanted these items. As the time for the drop came we all went to where we were needed. For me that was waiting as a reserve like most of PiP. Eventually we got the notification to move to the grass area behind the Chifley library… that is where the items needed to be taken.
As the group made its way slowly to the destination we noticed a growing zombie presence. It didn’t matter - we were organised and they couldn’t break our line. At least not immediately. When the zombies finally charged we scattered to a point and before I knew it one of them was on me. Stunned I fell to the ground… afterwards I managed to stumble home.
I am now one of them.
I have been turned.
Its strange to see how quickly our alliances can change…
Roughly 24 hours ago various reports started being received. As far as we can tell there seems to be an outbreak of what appears to be a ‘zombie virus’ on the campus of the Australian National University. At this point in time it is unknown what the cause is (if it is a virus or not is a topic of high debate).
Our source claims the number of ‘zombies’ to be under 40 at this point in time. From this point forward we will let our source - a current student at the ANU keep you updated on this breaking story.
‘WorldOfIllusion News’
At first it was just another Monday. I made the short walk to my first lecture - and by the time it was finished there were already four zombies or so. Word spread fast. Apparently the initial outbreak was triggered by a zombie who simply appeared to be a normal everyday human - like you or I.
As soon as the outbreak occurred people started getting organised. Guns, socks, standards - they were everywhere. I managed to join a ’squad’ called PiP for short. I figure an organised effort is much better than everybody working for themselves. Especially when we can pool resources for the advantage of all.
That said it has been a long day - I should really get some rest.
After all, who knows what tomorrow will bring?
James Clay.
