Today I saw the movie Up.

All in all – it was fantastic. For all of you who scoff at animations, who say they are for children… you have no idea. The movie was simply great, enjoyable for children and adults alike.

For me I found quite a few parts of the movie quite sad, it stirred memories for me. For those who have seen it you will know what the start of the movie was like. Just let me say here how is the beginning not sad? As I said the movie stirred memories for me – in this case it made me think of my Grandpa. Not that him and ‘Carl’ were that similar but still.

In other news I suggest you all go and watch Up – it sure is worth it.

Internet Intervention from Those Aren’t Muskets!

Over the last week or so I have noticed an increase in spam comments being left on my blog. Luckily wordpress has pretty fantasmic anti-spam (Akismet). So rather than having some twenty comments chock full of links and random sentences that don’t make sense… I have silence. In other news when I first started this blog I did a post which was very very loosely based around the idea of technopathy.

Since then I have occasionally had people find my blog while searching the internet on how to ‘technopathy’. You know what this means? People are actually trying to find out how they can magically interact with computers… by looking it up on a search engine. I imagine they would be mighty disappointed when they find my blog and the fact it offers absolutely no clues on how to talk to computers.

Are you any good at pool? I’m not really – well I’m not completely terrible but not great by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully that will change… see one of my friends is now teaching me some more complicated and skilled shots and other such fun stuff. Now all I need to do is practice. Problem is that I only ever play pool when at this friends house.

Why am I bringing this up? Well I need something to write about and I was at his house last night with some other friends. A very simple outing, pizza, pool, watched a random movie. A nice way to kill nearly six hours in the end.

Fort Minor – Believe Me

So over the course of a day I watched the majority of Heroes Volume 4. Not going to go into depth but parts of it annoyed me. The major twist at the end – ridiculous. If you know anything about the earlier episodes/past volumes you will know that the Nathan and Sylar twist is completely un-needed.

So ends another micro-post. Now with 99% less satisfaction.

Paramore – Fences

So the other night I went somewhere I haven’t been before. I went here. Overall it was decently good – a lot of baby faced people who really didn’t look eighteen. I am pretty sure that I was the tallest person in the club (for those who don’t know me I am ‘taller’ than average). The music was loud and their signature drink was nice (also filled with sugar – on that note I think the version I had of it was stronger than normal as some of the people I was there with had ‘connections’).
