We are all the way we are for a reason. Don’t get me wrong - I’m not talking about destiny or fate or anything like that. See we are all products of our experience and beyond that our genetics. All the seemingly insignificant moments have led you up to this point in your life. How you think has been influenced by so many things.

In other news.

The other day I watched My Sister’s Keeper. I haven’t read the book - apparently its better than the movie… that said I thought the movie was fantastic. Extremely sad - and it doesn’t try and make it all a happy sunshine and rainbows ending (a good thing). Now I have another book to add to my to read list.

It will have to wait though - see there are another two books ahead in the queue. See I am currently reading Catch 22 - a very… unique book. Then there is A Prayer for Owen Meany. Which should be good as well.

On that note I shall end this post - until next time (you really have to love these half baked nuggets of little content value).

The other day I forked out a whole heap of money. You want to know what for? It took less than an hour. It has to do with driving. Can you guess yet?

I went to the RTA.

I progressed from a P1 to a P2 license class.

It cost me over a quarter of my weeks wage. Getting your P2 license is expensive - the RTA is a rip off.

The benefits? I can now drive as many people under the age of 21 (after 11 pm) as I want. I can use a hands free mobile. I can go 10km/h faster. I have three more demerit points. Also I get to use pretty green ‘P plates’ rather than red ones.

Go me.

It’s all about the pretty green plates.

I feel slightly out of it right now.

I don’t know why.

Maybe I have played too much Fallout 3 these past two days… or maybe I haven’t had enough water. I don’t know.

Ah well - life goes on.

Sitting here I don’t quite know what to write about. That said I do know what not to write about… chickens. In all seriousness I do appreciate all the helpful tips people give to try and inspire me and get me writing. I think my main problem is this: my life has slowed down. The experiences I have nowadays aren’t so great to write about. Fun times doesn’t translate into a good topic.

See either the content wont be read properly over the internet - or it is simply boring (I am including random rants as boring). I’m not an expert in a particular field so I can’t really write informative blogs - humour is really hard work. I simply don’t have the commitment to make humour work well. So here I am. Left with scraps from the dinner-table of writing.

Ah well.

I make do. I just hope that I get back to the point where I really enjoy writing this blog. Nowadays I do get some enjoyment… but writing posts still feels like a chore 75% of the time. Also after a day of work I normally don’t really have the stomach to try and write. That leaves the preciously short weekends that are normally wasted by sleep, lazing around, watching TV and playing computer games - etc etc.

Life goes on.
