I don’t know about you but personally I enjoy reading. My most read genre would have to be science fiction, fantasy or thriller (im a big fan of space epics). Still the books I enjoy the most aren’t in this style at all. The classics sometimes are just that, classics. Some of them are truly fantastic and worth the read.
Also there are a few other books that are truly worthwhile, for example ‘The Shadow Of The Wind’ and ‘The Book Thief’. Also there are some simply fantastic authors like Mitch Albom. All these books and authors I just mentioned are outside of my normal genres but their writings are absolutely fantastic. Both of the books I named I couldn’t put down whilst the author mentioned writes truly spectacular stories which can really make you think.
Now to all of you out there, I suggest you get reading. You won’t regret it.
Ello’ ello J…
I must admit i to am a huge fan of reading and “The Book Thief” is definitly worth reading it is a sad but incredibly epic look into the world of the average family ducking under the radar in nazi Germany. I love the character of the narrator ( i wont give away who it is in case u want to read the book). But indeed Death was certainly busy in Europe in the 1930s and 40s.
I am sorry about not making a post on the site for a ridiculously long time i have wanted to but i have not found the time nor the motivation to.
Keep it up world u keep us all inspired.
P.S If u are looking for a great space epic, (and i happen to know ur a fan of SPORE) then u might want to hire or tape or buy or whatever a movie by director Stanley Kubrick called “2001 a Space Odyssey” it will blow ur mind… its an old movie but its inspired some of the greatest sci fi of our time. Enjoy. Wocka…
If you liked ‘The Book Thief’ you’ll like ‘The Shadow Of The Wind’.
2001 a Space Odyssey sounds familiar, pretty sure I haven’t seen it but the title is déjà vu. Kind of a side note here, why’d you choose Wocka-Voca?
