Yes well I do play DotA. I’m sorry. I know what it means to deny, last hit, assist, gank, push, rax and much much more - but what can I say, it is fun. For a little bit of background information DotA; (defense of the ancients) is a custom map for warcraft three, the frozen throne. Yes, it is old but blizzards inclusion of the editor has truly kept warcraft 3 alive and allowed for many custom maps like dota…
DotA sure has created quite a stir on the internets over time, just take a look at the dota song to know what I mean.
Don’t get the wrong idea though, playing DotA doesn’t make you cool like the song would suggest. In fact you’d be surprised how many idiots play DotA. Battlenet (where you can play dota online) is full of immature kids who think they’re cool cause they are on the internets - it’s important to forget all the people with their 1337 maphax. Also there are a whole heap of deranged people who can’t speak English properly or leave a game as soon as they start getting there asses kicked (commonly known as rage quitters). Unfortunately DotA seems to attract these n00bs by the truckload and I’d say that there’s an 90% chance that in a game you will either have a rage quitter or a plain old idiot.
This isn’t always a bad thing though, it sure is fun to toy with them or to have competitions with friends to see who can make an enemy rage quit first (I’ve gotten good at this). Plus seeing some of the worst English you are likely to see in your life can be funny.
Hope everyone’s feeling good and doing well. Now I’m off to play some DotA.

Sorry for my recent drought of entries, I’m going to try and be more active. Don’t worry hopefully they won’t be as bad as this…
How do you make someone ragequit? It’s trash-talking. It works especially against those who brag how good they are. I had an interesting situation. On my team three were ragequitting. And the host started to brag about it. I told my teammate to ignore him. After a while I told the host the truth about people like him, and got so annoyed he chased us both to the fountain. With the help of the fountain, we (the two of us remaining) managed marginally to kill a team of 3. Then the host ragequitted after saying something like “I’m still good”.
Anyway, on pubbies trash-talking is rarely used, because it may force many people to ragequit. And we don’t want that. My remaining team consisted of Nerub (me) and Medusa. The other team was Pudge (the host), Huskar (well-fed, 3 level above us, like 16 or so), Puck (easy meal for me), and Techies.
