Well, just recently I downloaded Audacity. Very few people know that (believe it or not) I sing sometimes. Most of the time this ‘singing’ is going with the music that I’m listening to on my iPod – but sometimes (this is pretty rare) to lyrics of my own…

Now getting back to the point, I downloaded Audacity and I recorded some unfinished lyrics that had been running around my head while eating a very refreshing bowl of Sultana Bran. So now I have a couple of stanzas worth of lyrics in a project on Audacity – waiting for completion and some order to come along and get them fixed up.

The song so far is quiet and slow – a sad song overall. Partially inspired by life and the people around me and some different thing’s that I have heard recently. It looks good enough right now and if I ever do get round to finishing it, I’ll be sure to let all of you know.

Finishing off here are a couple of lines:

Wondering what to think of you,

And this life washed down the drain.

Sitting here just crying now,

There’s no fire in the rain…
