So. In the vaguely recent past I ordered a laptop from Dell – then in the vaguely recent past that laptop got delivered. Doesn’t sound too bad right? Well it took over a week longer than it should of… probably because it took them a week to call me and confirm I gave the right payment details. Funny thing is before I purchased it the customer service person I was in contact with would reply to emails and even call my mobile in a matter of hours. I  guess things change a little when they have your money. The moral is when they say 7-10 business days… don’t believe it.

That said the laptop is great. Except for the slightly annoying ‘free’ programs that they pre-install for you. You know the ones that then cost after a month or are only a trial version. Then they go ahead and ‘remind’ you every day or so until you finally go in and try to uninstall them. Yea – those ones. Ah well,  that’s the way the world is to a large point nowadays (for computers/laptops at least).
